About Us

We’re a modern optometry practice built around one idea: patients and team members deserve better than corporate shortcuts. Our focus is on evidence-based care, premium products, and a patient-first experience that elevates eye health and eyewear.

We invest in our team with mentorship, growth opportunities, and a supportive culture where your input matters.

About the Role

As our Optician, you’ll be the expert patients rely on for both vision solutions and style guidance. You’ll run the optical with professionalism and pride, ensuring every patient gets eyewear that looks great, feels comfortable, and performs as it should.

This role blends technical skill with customer care — measuring, fitting, and adjusting eyewear while helping patients understand their options and feel confident in their choices.

What You’ll Do

  • Take ownership of the optical, ensuring a smooth, high-quality patient experience

  • Guide patients through frame and lens selections with both expertise and empathy

  • Verify and explain vision benefits, helping patients maximize their coverage

  • Measure, fit, and adjust eyewear for lasting comfort and clarity

  • Stay current on lens technologies and optical products to provide the best solutions

  • Collaborate with the optometrist to ensure treatment and eyewear align

  • Pitch in at the front desk when needed (answering calls, booking appointments, assisting with check-in/out)

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma required

  • 3 years of optical experience required

  • Solid understanding of lens technology, frame adjustment, and optical principles

  • Professional, approachable communicator with strong customer service skills

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking in a busy clinic

  • Dependable, punctual, and consistent — a teammate others can count on

  • Proficient with practice management systems and basic computer applications

Schedule

  • Typical hours:

    • Monday 9–6

    • Tuesday 10–7

    • Wednesday 9–6

    • Thursday 10–7

    • Friday 8–5

    • Saturday 9–3 (rotating)

  • 4–5 days per week, rotating based on clinic needs

Why Join Us

  • Competitive pay

  • 10 days PTO + a paid birthday off every year

  • Employee discounts on exam, premium eyewear, and lenses

  • Supportive, collaborative environment where your expertise is valued

  • A chance to make a real impact on patients’ daily lives through vision and style
