Position Overview: 

The Supply Chain Coordinator is part of our Operations Department. He/she will work closely and collaboratively to support our three Supply Chain Analysts to troubleshoot and resolve our clients’ supply chain related issues. This requires an inquisitive and analytical mindset. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, data guru who can effectively interact with a team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on solving puzzles with few clues.


Primary Job Functions:

From within Amazon’s back-end Vendor Central and Seller Central platforms:

  • Work with clients, Business Managers, Supply Chain Analysts and Amazon to ensure a smoothly functioning supply chain.

  • Monitor and analyze supply chain data from Amazon and Clients to identify and assist in troubleshooting supply chain issues. Including:

    • Monitoring and disputing chargebacks (fines) due to non-compliance with Amazon policies

    • Investigate issues with product receipt by Amazon and associated shortage claims

    • Assist with identification of systemic issues leading to chargebacks and shortages 

  • Perform routine audits and updates of product data to ensure smooth supply chain performance, including:

    • Product identifiers (GTIN, UPC, etc…)

    • Product dimensions and packaging details

    • Product pack size details

  • Work with Business Management Team, Supply Chain Analysts, and clients to maintain internal supply chain data sources. 

  • Assist with opening support cases with Amazon to address client issues as needed.

  • Assist with researching and document Amazon supply chain requirements as well as supply chain best practices.

  • Assist Supply Chain Analysts with additional projects as necessary.


Qualifications:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • At least 1 year work experience in at least one of the following areas: logistics, supply chain, EDI, distribution, or inventory management

  • Experience in eCommerce or with Amazon supply chain a huge plus

  • Analytical and curious; comfortable with uncertainty and shades of gray

  • Tech savvy and extremely comfortable using web-based systems to extract and compile data

  • A self-starter who loves data, analysis and spotting trends (if you don’t know what VLOOKUP is, this is probably not the right right job for you)

  • Demonstrated experience as an effective team player with strong communications skills; the role requires extensive interaction with internal team members. 

  • Ability to identify and escalate problems, information and data to the relevant owners and teams 

  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills

  • Must be comfortable with the learning curve and constant change that comes with operating in the fast moving, ever changing world of eCommerce

  • Must have a dedicated office at home or elsewhere with access to secure high-speed internet and phone, and sufficient space for two monitors. This is not a job that can be done at a coffee shop or while traveling (appropriate IT equipment will be provided).

  • We operate on G-Suite (Gmail, G-Drive, Sheets, Presentations, Calendar, Drawings, etc); experience using G-Suite is a plus. At a minimum, must be adept at Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and willing to make the transition to G-Suite.


Travel:

  • Occasional travel may be required for meetings or team building offsites (~2x a year)

 

Compensation Overview:

  • Competitive compensation depending on experience that includes base salary, a bonus, 401K eligibility, health insurance and monthly stipends for phone/internet
