Senior Manager, Content Analytics

About the Sr. Manager, Content Analytics role:

This is a new role, initially focusing on one of our enterprise clients. This individual will play a key role in the day to day management of new and existing strategies to drive best-in-class content across multiple platforms, including Amazon, Walmart, Kroger, and other e-retailers. We will look to the Sr. Manager, Content Analytics to lead the implementation of content monitoring and reporting utilizing 3rd party data platforms, such as Profitero. There is a heavy focus on collaboration between the broader Media, Content, and Business Management teams. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with our Business and Media Teams to provide holistic, best-in-class content recommendations aimed at sale growth - we are strategic business partners

    • Provide content recommendations and best practice strategies (ex. how best to layout a stores page, keywords to use in A+ using data, etc.) for various eretailers, such as Amazon, Walmart, Instacart, Kroger

    • Analyze data to drive decision-making for SEO and content optimizations, and assess and share impacts of content changes


    • Communicate with and present to our client regularly

  • Build, implement, and optimize content monitoring best practices utilizing Profitero or similar 3rd party data platforms

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies including keyword research, on-page optimization, targeting, content analysis, technical improvement, and customer engagement

  • Oversee a small team of Bees assisting with content and digital shelf optimizations, and ensure team meets deliverables with quality, timeliness, and strategic alignment

    • Leading the team to be accountable, collaborative partners to our client and the rest of the organization.  Managing the team through change, setting them up to be successful and being supportive as they grow

  • Ensure best-in-class content is maintained across all e-retailer product pages

  • Collaborate with internal teams on SEO content strategy utilizing top keywords

  • Keep both client and agency teams accountable for meeting content deadlines

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working with SEO and eCommerce sites

  • Amazon content or Profitero experience preferred

  • Amazon retail fundamentals knowledge (new item set-up, ASINs, Vendor Central vs. Seller Central, operations, flywheel)

  • Strong analytical ability, including dissecting large sets of data

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills

  • Experience with or in marketing agencies, demonstrating an understanding of the high levels of service and responsiveness required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Product experience - particularly CPG

  • Must be comfortable with the learning curve/constant change that comes with operating in a fast-moving, ever-changing world of eCommerce

  • Must have a dedicated office at home or elsewhere with access to secure high-speed internet and phone, and sufficient space for two monitors. This is not a job that can be done at a coffee shop or while traveling (appropriate equipment will be provided).

  • Travel may be required to several trade shows per year and client meetings as needed

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • Amazon Advertising Accredited

  • Experience with PIMs and/or DAMs preferred
