Advantage Digital Commerce is a part of the growing world of e-commerce. As more and more retail sales move online, more manufacturers need experts to effectively manage their e-commerce business. That’s where Advantage Digital Commerce comes in. We need a sharp and nimble Associate Business Analyst to help these growing e-commerce clients manage their reporting, analytical, and marketing needs.

As our Associate Business Analyst, you’ll work closely with our sales and marketing teams as well as clients to build processes that simplify all aspects of the business. You’ll design new reports, improve efficiency and automation, and learn the ins and outs of retailer portals. You’ll be the go-to person for any reporting, technology, and/or analytical needs.

To be successful, you’ll need to learn quickly, stay on top of new e-commerce trends, and be a motivated independent worker. This is a remote position with flexible PTO, full health benefits, 401k match, phone allowance, and a company laptop. Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist Business Analyst team in the analysis and application of data findings

  • Assess opportunities for automation using existing and new technologies

  • Easily identify inconsistencies in data and develop procedures to correct them

  • Synthesize several sources of data into a clear sales presentation

  • Develop client-deliverable materials including forecasts, reporting and more

  • Create documents and reports that support sales and Trade Marketing services

  • Help organize and maintain data on company servers

  • Utilize crawling software to obtain data for regular and ad hoc reporting needs


Education and Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, analytics, ecommerce or other field

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics or related fields

  • Background in ecommerce and online marketing desired


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High level of initiative and ability to work under minimal supervision

  • Strong quantitative skills with a working knowledge of data software

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Understanding of core and emerging analytics methods

  • Ability to achieve success by transforming ambiguity into clear standards and practices

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word and Outlook) required

  • Expert level of Microsoft Excel required

  • Desire to contribute to a positive work environment and create success for clients and team members

  • Ability to build relationships across teams and clients

  • Ability to manage large amounts of data and streamline processes

  • Passion, integrity and energy

  • Tableau and Power BI experience a plus

  • Basic knowledge of logic and programming a plus
