About the Strategic Business Advisor Role:

Ecommerce is a face paced industry, and the only constant is change- we are looking for someone who is dynamic, curious & confident to join our team as a Strategic Business Advisor in our Business Management Center of Excellence. This role is responsible for providing strategic, tactical and operational leadership to our brand partners to grow sales at various digital retailers, while maintaining a high focus on expanding client relationships. The Strategic Business Advisor is responsible for all aspects of the clients under their management to ensure online sales targets are achieved through executing channel strategies, forecast, negotiations, promotions and retailer partnerships. In a work-from-home environment; to be successful, you will need to learn quickly, stay on top of new e-commerce trends and be a motivated, independent worker. In addition to leading client relationships, new business development is a core focus that this role actively participates in.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and drive client growth within existing account portfolio and achieving annual sales budget via current client growth, new service creation, new business development, etc.
  • Understand needs of clients to ensure expectations are being met (and exceeded), while also understanding contractual agreement
  • Develop and action client strategic plans for e-commerce retailers, working across various teams (content, media, client brand teams, retailers, etc.) as the client lead and main point of contact
  • Conduct catalog and category assessments
  • Regular scheduled client communication and business review planning via calls, meetings and e-mails
  • Collaborate with team, peers and enterprise to actively understand key initiatives and new services to drive overall client sales
  • Develop and maintain a professional knowledge of new or emerging trends within the online shopping space
  • Drive new business opportunities for clients and the company
  • Actively engaging in company culture and event

  • Comfortable with numbers – budgeting and financial management, trade / strategy execution, analytical thinking
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with e-commerce platform, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and web browsers
  • Team player with good people skills
  • Relevant e-commerce experience
