Front End Developer

Job Description

You are:

A motivated, skilled Javascript software engineer who’s eager to join an innovative product team that emphasizes creative problem solving, fast iteration, pushing the envelope with features, and constantly looking for ways to simplify. You’ll work within a tight-knit team of engineers in an agile environment as we grow our list of exciting and cutting edge product features.


Skills & requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years full time experience with Javascript. Must know the language itself, not just through jquery or a similar library.

  • Solid knowledge of object oriented programming and architectural patterns; experience with Java, or C++ a strong plus.

  • Solid knowledge of a modern agile software engineering environment (with source code control, dev/stage/prod release cycle, extensive testing, and continuous deployment.)

  • Reasonable level of experience identifying and defining integration points with third-party solutions (analytics, libraries, etc.)

  • Experience with HTML5 video a strong plus.

  • Experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails a strong plus.

  • Clear, effective, and proactive communication skills.
