The Role:

Responsible for assisting and preparing projects for Video Editors in the post-production department. Must have initiative and creativity, while being able to take direction and incorporate notes from Post-Production Supervisor and owners in a timely and effective manner.

In addition to general Assistant Editor work, we are also looking for someone specializing in graphics, with a strong interest and skills in Photoshop, Premiere, and AfterEffects.

Who you are:

  • A sports FANATIC looking for a fast paced, high growth opportunity

  • Bachelor's level education or above.

  • Experience with Adobe Premiere.

  • Proficient in other Adobe Creative Cloud suite of programs (i.e. After Effects, Photoshop)

  • Understanding of Edit Share system and post-production workflows

  • Good knowledge of contemporary cameras, file formats, codecs, and their proper handling in a post workflow

  • Comfortable with Google Apps suite (Gmail, Excel, Calendar, Drive, etc)

  • A strong understanding of web technologies standards, and how the digital ecosystem is evolving.

  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, content management and social media platforms.

  • Bilingual English and Spanish a plus

What you’ll do

  • Ingest, Transcode and Group/Sync raw material from shoots in Premiere as well as an understanding of shared storage

  • Groups and sub-clips media for use by editors.

  • Basic management of media; backing up correctly, finishing jobs correctly.

  • Media Management for our Premiere workflows and projects

  • Managing the organization of the folder structure on the server, project and related media assets as well as backing up/archiving

  • Ability to do basic sound design & audio mixing as well as able to handle basic color correction.

  • Able to implement provided graphics and titles, and ideally the ability to create original graphics/animation

  • Create graphical elements when needed.

  • Willing to work a flexible schedule that includes some evening and weekend shifts.
