As Lead Esthetician, you’ll be a hands-on leader in this space—delivering exceptional client care, mentoring the esthetics team, and maintaining the highest operational and sanitation standards. You’ll ensure that each service reflects the Beauty Heroes mission:

This role blends artistry, technical skill, and leadership. You’ll inspire a team of estheticians, collaborate on events and education, and serve as a steward of our rigorous ingredient and treatment standards.

Description of Duties

Client Experience + Services

• Deliver holistic facial services and facial tinting/waxing in accordance with Beauty Heroes protocols
• Tailor skincare treatments to each client’s unique needs, providing thoughtful education and product recommendations
• Maintain a pristine and welcoming treatment space that reflects our brand ethos

Advanced Client Education • Perform one-on-one consultations with clients both in-store and virtually, offering expert skincare guidance and customized recommendations
• Build trusted, long-term client relationships that reinforce Beauty Heroes' values and ingredient standards
• Lead educational events and workshops that inform and inspire our community around skincare and healthy beauty rituals
• Partner with the marketing and store teams to design and deliver dynamic client experiences that build engagement and loyalty

Team Leadership + Training• Mentor and support estheticians with ongoing training, guidance, and coaching
• Assist with hiring by conducting practical interviews and sharing informed feedback
• Collaborate with the Store Manager on esthetics team meeting agendas and training plans
• Communicate effectively and proactively with the esthetics team using internal tools to ensure alignment, motivation, and clarity

Operations + Inventory• Maintain backbar organization and manage inventory of treatment supplies
• Submit supply orders to the Store Manager in a timely and organized manner
• Coordinate and oversee weekly laundry needs in collaboration with the store team
• Support service-related content creation and marketing initiatives, as requested

Qualifications

• Current California Esthetician or Cosmetology License• 2–3 years experience as a lead esthetician, educator, or manager
• Deep knowledge of skincare ingredients, with a passion for clean beauty (we’ll teach you more!)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent hygiene practices and State Board compliance knowledge
• Professional demeanor and discretion
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
• A warm, engaging presence and commitment to exceptional service

Working Conditions

This position involves providing services in a treatment room (working seated or standing) and occasionally working on the retail floor. Lifting light items (up to 20 lbs.), handling laundry, and unpacking product shipments may be required.
