We are seeking a Part-Time Ecommerce Fulfillment + Customer Care Specialist to support our growing operations team at our Novato headquarters. This is a hands-on, back-of-house role focused on order fulfillment, inventory management, and routine customer care support for a fast-growing, mission-driven beauty company.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in an active environment, enjoys working with systems and processes, and takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and follow-through. This is an in-person role and requires proximity to Novato, California for an easy commute.
Description of Duties
Ecommerce Fulfillment & Warehouse Operations
Print, sort, and prioritize daily ecommerce and subscription orders
Pick, pack, and ship orders with speed, accuracy, and care
Support subscription fulfillment as required during busy cycles
Receive inbound inventory daily and accurately log products into our inventory management system
Unpack, check-in, label, and store incoming product shipments
Review inventory levels and proactively report low-stock or replenishment needs
Manage and expedite back orders to ensure timely customer delivery
Maintain clean, organized, and efficient fulfillment and storage areas
Dispose of packing materials and cartons responsibly
Conduct inventory counts as required
Manage inventory of promotional and marketing materials
Plan ahead for upcoming promotions, launches, and volume increases
Customer Care Support
Respond to routine customer service inquiries through our customer care platform as assigned
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding order status and back orders
Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining a calm, solution-oriented approach
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks independently
Confident computer skills and comfort working with digital systems
Clear, professional written communication skills
Reliable, accountable, and team-oriented
Enthusiasm for beauty, wellness, and working with a values-driven brand
Physical & Working Requirements
This role is physically active and includes extended periods of standing and movement
Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 30 lbs
On-site work at our Novato headquarters; this position is not remote
Working Conditions
This is a part-time, on-site position based at our Novato headquarters. Hours may increase as business needs evolve.
