The team

The Senior Recruiter is part of the global HR & Recruitment team based in Amsterdam. The team is made up of 5 professionals. You will report to the manager of HR & Recruitment.

As Senior Recruiter you must take pride in and have a personal interest in helping Backbase to identify the best talent out there, and want to make a difference in the lives of candidates and your hiring managers.

As a Senior Recruiter we see you as business partner to the hiring team and we expect you to start up new projects to work on the Backbase cool factor.

Next to the main focus on permanent staffing you will also be responsible for temporary staffing, the Backbase Bootcamp for new hires and building our employer brand.

Your profile

This is who you are: You have complete experience of the end-to-end recruitment process, with a history that includes both corporate and agency positions. You are skilled at building a strong, creative recruitment strategies and can do so for each search in order to find and hire the ideal candidate from anywhere in the world. You are just getting started with your career in recruiting but have reached the limits of your current role and exceeded expectations, now you’re ready for the challenge of working for a company with global reach. 

Does this sound like you?

  • Has 5-8 years experience in IT recruitment, preferably with a focus on senior international positions;
  • Capable of proactive sourcing and searching experience, including with Boolean searches and Linkedin searches;
  • Continuously looking for new recruitment channels and innovative ways to get in touch with talent;
  • Able to build trusting relationships with candidates and hiring managers;
  • Is a skilled interviewer with a high level of energy;
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and be flexible;
  • Communicates fluently in Dutch and English.
