Backbase is looking for a General Manager, Backbase North America, in the U.S. The General Manager will work from our NYC office and reports to the CEO.
Position involves ultimate responsibility for all activities of sales, marketing, product development, and operations departments, the service delivery process, and all human resources activities. In order to achieve all goals and carry out necessary duties, the General Manager will be asked to use his/her extensive knowledge of the ever-growing innovation field at banks and high value b2b use cases.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in the Information Technology field, as well as knowledge of field related technologies such as Web Content Management, Digital Marketing and Online Banking as well as knowledge of customer experience solutions such as Lean Portals, BPM and Forms, and modern UX Patterns. Position also requires at least 2 years of strong Executive expertise both in driving business, sales, demand generation and successfully managing professional services, alliances and product development teams or a closely related field.
