A leading enterprise software solutions company seeks a UX DevOps Engineer. The successful candidate will play a key role in building and supporting the cloud-based infrastructure that powers our code build pipelines and hosts the tools and assets essential to our UX organization. The ideal candidate is passionate about coding and possesses a strong drive to automate manual processes, leveraging new tools and technologies to enhance workflows. UX DevOps Engineer Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $40/hr
- Worksite: Leading enterprise software solutions company (Boulder, CO 80301 - Hybrid, 2 days/week)

- 32 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment
UX DevOps Engineer Responsibilities:
- Help design, build, and support secure and scalable cloud infrastructure to support code build pipelines, tools, and assets for the UX organization.
- Deliver high-quality and secure infrastructure solutions, employing structured due diligence and risk analysis.
- Collaborate with the Design Technology team to innovate and develop tools and processes that effectively support our UX organization's scale.
- Act as a multiplier by working with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions that amplify the impact of UX at the company.
- Integrate and support technology solutions, software, and hardware that enable our Designers and Researchers to perform their work efficiently.
UX DevOps Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience with AWS, including policy management, account access, allowlisting, and endpoint creation.
- Experience with Infrastructure automation, specifically within AWS environments.
- Experience in scripting/programming languages such as Groovy and Bash (for Jenkins and general automation).
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and/or CloudFormation (for AWS deployments).
- Experience with secure network design and implementation, including WAF (Web Application Firewall) management, specifically Cloudfront and Appsync WAFs.
- Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
- Experience in Javascript, web frameworks (e.g. React), CSS, and HTML is preferred.
- Experience with RESTful services, service-oriented architecture, distributed systems, and microservices is preferred.
- Experience with multiple AWS services (S3, EC2, IAM, Cloudfront, Appsync) is preferred.
- Standout colleague with excellent communication skills as well as the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong background in Linux/Unix fundamentals and/or System Administration.
Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., SMTP, DNS, LDAP, NTP, HTTPS), servers, storage systems, operating systems, and databases, and how they interrelate. - A passion for learning and growth in DevOps practices.
- A curiosity for Design, UX and UI.
- You are a self-motivated, dynamic teammate.
- Solid understanding of Continuous Integration Frameworks, particularly Jenkins, including Jenkinsfile management and Docker image creation for Jenkins agents.
- A solid understanding of serverless applications and AWS Lambda.
- Curiosity about machine learning fundamentals is preferred.
Shift:
- 32hrs (4 days/week).
