A leading university is seeking a University Travel Customer Service Specialist. The Business Affairs department is responsible for the entire travel program for all staff/students/admin at the university. The Travel Customer Service Specialists will assist with support requests and triage them to the correct people/departments. The ideal candidate has heavy customer service experience. and campus-facing communication and support. The company offers a great work environment!

Travel Customer Service Specialist Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $25/hr
  • Worksite: Leading University (Redwood City, CA 94063 - Hybrid, Muste be onsite on Wednesdays)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
  • 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment, Possible extension

Travel Customer Service Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, support request system, and Slack in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with inquiries such as updating travel profiles, creating guest templates, and establishing car rental billing accounts.
  • Escalate customer complaints and issues to appropriate travel team members to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide travel program information and resources to help customers make informed decisions.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their concerns have been addressed and provide any necessary updates.
  • Participate in team meetings.
  • Ensure all customer interactions are accurately documented in ServiceNow for future reference and quality assurance.
  • Run ad-hoc reports and organize content in Google Drive.

Travel Customer Service Specialist Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience working in a professional environment if you have an associate degree, or
  • 5 years of experience working in a professional environment if you don't have an associate degree.
  • Proven experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using Google Suite and Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Shift:

  • Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, Pacific Time office hours.
