A leading university is seeking a Sustainability Waste Coordinator. The successful candidate will support Waste Operations and Diversion Programs. The company offers a great work environment!
Sustainability Waste Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Support waste operations across R&DE properties, including service rightsizing, vendor coordination, waste diversion and monitoring performance.
- Support strategies to reduce landfill waste, increase diversion, and support donation, reuse, and material recovery programs (e.g., Give & Go, surplus donation).
- Track and analyze waste metrics, prepare reports, and identify operational improvements.
- Design and develop signage, outreach, and communication of sustainability programs to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Facilities, Housing Operations, and other units on operational sustainability needs.
Sustainability Waste Coordinator Qualifications:
- 2 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- A valid driver's license - the position involves driving 20–30% of the time.
Shift:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
