We are hiring to manage infrastructure technology suppliers relations, supporting both production datacenter and internal IT organizations. The successful candidate will assist in managing aspects of infrastructure technology supplier engagement for the production data center and internal IT organizations. They will gather, organize, and analyze information in effort to continuously identify ways to optimize cost to serve our members and employees. They will track industry and competitive trends, spot emerging opportunities, identify business threats, and influence technology decisions supporting sustainability, operability, scale, and cost efficiency. The candidate will focus on both long-term decisions and the prioritization of short-term actions.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Partner with and influence technical leaders across organization to ensure technology solutions are both productive and cost efficient
  • Develop sourcing strategies and plans in collaboration with business leaders
  • Understand utilization, right size future needs in alignment with roadmap and financial budget
  • Develop supplier negotiation strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders, and ensure timely successful execution of plans
  • Develop systematic solutions to track, monitor, and report sourcing activities from intake to execution completion integrating with budget plans
  • Develop and analyze bid packages and execute supplier contracts
  • Ensure timely availability of supplier products and services to meet business needs
  • Develop supplier contract database to track financials and related assets
  • Streamline operating frameworks powering collaboration between various organizations such as Operations, Legal, Security, Finance, and Procurement
  • Manage end-to-end supplier engagement from selection, onboarding, pricing negotiation, contracts execution, procure-to-pay activities
  • Develop Procure-to-pay: Purchase requisition & order, pricing & quotes, invoice & payments
  • Responsible for Finance management: Budget development, plan vs actual variance analysis and reconciliation, recurring forecast adjustments

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S./B.A. in a technical or business field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years of experience dealing with IT solutions suppliers in global infrastructure or technology industry
  • 2+ years of experience developing, analyzing, and executing IT solutions supplier contracts
  • 2+ years of experience writing and reviewing various contracts types

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Formal project management skills and/or sales experience are a strong plus
  • 5+ years of experience writing and reviewing various contracts types such as statement of work, master agreements with global suppliers with emphasis on data privacy and IP protection
  • 5+ years of understanding of infrastructure technologies such as cloud, datacenter, network, system, storage, voice & video, end-user computing, and enterprise IT systems
  • 5+ years of experience developing, analyzing, and executing IT solutions supplier contracts for datacenter rent & power, HW & SW products and services, data network/voice/wireless circuits, and/or related external labor services
  • Experience in sourcing and financial planning & analysis, budget management, and product/service costing, preferably related to infrastructure operations
  • Working knowledge of financial concepts such as capital & operational expenses, depreciation & amortization, accrual, fixed assets, cost center, chart of accounts, etc.
  • General knowledge of various business processes
  • Experience in Supplier engagement: Onboarding, pricing and contract negotiation, capacity and supply planning
  • Experience in driving a change with process improvement and required system definition and implementation
  • Experience operating within large, complex environments, with a firm knowledge of organizational dynamics

$65-$75 Per Hour         Sunnyvale, CA 94085           12 Month Assignment
