A leading technology company is seeking an SRMS Mechanical Calibration Technician. The successful candidate will support our manufactured test equipment and direct application of technical skills. The company offers a family-oriented culture and environment!

SRMS Mechanical Calibration Technician Responsibilities:

  • Repair and/or Calibration of torque measuring/indicating devices.
  • Perform mechanical measurement of plain/thread pins and plug gauges.
  • Manage mechanical measurement of precision-milled and turned sub-miniature high-frequency electronic parts.
  • Clarify, analyze, develop, and implement actions and solutions while supporting our technicians and NPI Engineers.
  • Perform adjustments, calibrations, and basic repairs.
  • Solve technical problems of limited scope and complexity.
  • Maximize the use of existing assets, multitask effectively, and ensure our resources are used properly (i.e. connector care, ESD).

SRMS Mechanical Calibration Technician Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of related experience in the calibration and repair of mechanical test equipment.
  • Some education, specialized training/certification, or Military experience.
  • Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine and Optical Surface Profilers is preferred.
  • Experience using automated calibration software platforms is a plus.
  • Strong PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are a must.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical metrology, hand tool usage, and have a Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) background, and be able to read blueprints.
  • Demonstrate mechanical competence.
  • Communicate effectively with internal customers. May initiate customer interaction as appropriate.

Shift:

  • Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM.
