Sourcing Specialist (non-tech) 779682 

We are looking for a clever and connected Sourcer (non-tech) to help us find and attract the best talent in the market. We aim to raise the profile of the original content and we believe that the audiobook franchise and ever-broader interest in listening to well-composed spoken words has achieved a scale and cultural tipping point that will allow the company to dramatically grow in the coming years. This position reports to the Manager of Sourcing


  • As a Sourcer you will be responsible for finding and engaging with the industry’s top talent. 
  • Tactical (55%):
    • Proactive and reactive sourcing of candidates across all open roles at the company as needed
    • Ownership of all candidates entering the funnel through HM phone screen
    • Ownership of all candidates and prospects post recruiting event
    • Phone screening of candidates as needed
    • Opportunistic hiring/Exploratory interviewing for future roles at our company
    • Identifying technology and events that drive new qualified candidates into the funnel
    • Presentation of candidate slates to recruiters and hiring managers
    • Scheduling of candidate/recruiter phone screens
    • Attending and contributing to prebriefs, debriefs, recruitment strategy meetings and weekly client check-ins
  • Strategic (20%)
    • Staying current on market trends and the business lines supported while providing data-driven insights to partners
    • External Talent Mapping
    • Candidate profile identification via Hiring Manager intake meetings
    • Creating and presenting diverse candidate slates
    • Consistent review and evaluation of Sourcing activities and implementation of new ideas that can optimize for better business results 
  •  Administrative (20%)
    • Maintaining Candidate Records in Applicant Tracking System
    • Utilizing internal tools – Offer Calculator, Microsoft Office, ICIMS, HIRE, etc.
    • Maintaining CRM
    • Note-taking in intake meetings
  •  Relationship Management (5%)
    • Establish and foster a partnership with Talent Acquisition peers – Recruiters and Recruiting Coordinators

 Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of corporate and or search firm progressive recruiting experience, including sourcing
  • Experience executing sourcing plans against a search
  • Candidate Tracking Systems/Applicant Tracking Systems experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches and projects
