A leading biotechnology company is seeking a versatile and forward-thinking Software Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a variety of software solutions, including low code, custom code, and cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate has three to five years of experience in Software Engineering (Python, JavaScript, No Code / Low Code).
Software Engineer Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $45-$55/hr
- Worksite: Leading biotechnology company (South San Francisco, CA 94080, Hybrid must be onsite 3 days a week)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
- 40 hours/week, 9 Month Assignment
Software Engineer Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain a variety of software solutions, including low code, custom code, and cloud-based applications.
Software Engineer Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Software Engineering (Python, JavaScript, No Code / Low Code).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Software Development and Data Management principles and practices.
- Experience working with current web-based technologies and infrastructure.
- Experience with reporting visualization tools such as Tableau, and SEEQ.
- Experience working with GxP-validated systems is preferred.
- Experience with information management systems, data historians, business intelligence, or data warehousing tools is preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is preferred.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing is preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to explore innovative technologies to consistently achieve desired results .
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self-starter who actively takes initiative to correct issues with systems.
- Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux computer systems.
- An understanding of biopharmaceutical process manufacturing practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with batch manufacturing automation controls (e.g. RSBatch) is preferred
- LowCode/NoCode tools such as Tulip Interfaces, Quickbase, etc. are preferred.
