• Worksite: Leading professional networking and job search platform (Mountain View, CA 94043 - Hybrid, Must be onsite on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays)

• 40 hours/week, 3 Month Assignment

The world’s largest professional network is looking for a Software Engineer. The successful candidate will develop and operate mission-critical services and applications that are used by customers and employees worldwide.

Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design, implementation, and deployment of software solutions.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are successfully executed, meeting our standards for quality software engineering.
• Design and ship high volumes of elegant code with foresight to avoid performance, scalability, usability, maintainability, availability, and testability issues.
• Maintain understanding of the latest technologies and tools and leverage them to improve existing products and services.
• Identify opportunities within the team for potential leverage and reuse by developing libraries, APIs, and shared services.

Software Engineer Qualifications:

• 2+ years 4+ (Preferred) years of software engineering experience.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Git, Frontend development.
• Proven track record of developing large-scale, highly available services and systems in either JavaScript or HTML.
• Web Development/Design.
• Client/Server Architectures.
• Working experience in the development as well as consumption of Web Services APIs (JSON / XML / RPC) is preferred.
• Python and Java experience is preferred.
• Kotlin, RESTful APIs experience is preferred.
• Working experience building systems, databases, and Linux-based infrastructures is preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of Computer Science fundamentals is preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of architectural models and technology stack used for developing highly scalable and highly available web applications and systems is preferred.
• Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal is preferred.
• An understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies is preferred.
• Experience developing mobile applications is preferred.
