A leading video, audio, and voice technologies company is seeking a Social Media Community & Influencer Coordinator. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day execution of our social content across the client’s cinema, TV, and home categories (streaming and live sports), working closely with the Sr. Social Media & Influencer Specialist to manage publishing workflows, creator logistics, and fan engagement. The Coordinator will also contribute to influencer and community-building initiatives across other verticals, including music, auto, podcasts, live events, and evergreen content, where you’ll collaborate with team members to bring creator programs and fan-first content to life. The ideal candidate is passionate about entertainment and pop culture, deeply in tune with online communities, and excited to help scale a growing creator program from the ground up. Equally important, the Coordinator should lead with kindness to have an outsized impact on the future of social at the client.
Social Media Community & Influencer Coordinator Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $30/hr
- Worksite: Leading professional development and networking company (Los Angeles, CA, Hybrid - Must be onsite for sporadic meetings at event spaces or office locations)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
- 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment, Possible extension
Social Media Community & Influencer Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Provide support across cinema, streaming, community management, and influencer logistics - with a focus on day-to-day publishing for cinema/streaming/live sports/home entertainment, creator coordination, fan engagement, and wrap reporting.
- Community Engagement
- Monitor and manage day-to-day community engagement interactions across all categories (DMs, comment sentiment sweeps, fan engagement) across all client-owned channels.
- Support community sentiment tracking and flag fan-driven moments or emerging themes.
Influencer & Creator Management
- Coordinate logistics for influencer activations — including sourcing, outreach, briefing, comms, post tracking.
- Maintain organized logs of past and potential future creator/influencer engagements to support the development of a foundational influencer database.
- Manage internal approvals and project coordination for creator/influencer content, including routing assets and feedback between teams.
Platform & Posting Operations
- Support daily publishing tasks: scheduling and publishing content across platforms (Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube) using Sprout or native tools.
- Assist with caption input, link generation, quality control, and final checks pre-publishing.
- Ensure all posts meet platform specs, brand voice, and accessibility standards.
- Assist with creating and formatting creative assets (static/video) for client title releases as needed.
Studio & Partner Coordination
- Track studio and partner asks across campaigns, keeping calendars aligned and assets organized in internal libraries and Airtables.
- Manage timely delivery of content and approvals for cinema, streaming, live sports, home entertainment launches.
Analytics & Reporting
- Compile social analytics, capture post screenshots, and compile top-performing content data for assigned initiatives.
- Support reporting for fan engagement, social listening sentiment, and content performance by category using Sprout and native platform tools.
Trend Monitoring & Reactive Content Support
- Identify cultural trends and community-driven opportunities to inform reactive content.
- Brainstorm quick-turn content ideas and help prioritize what can move forward.
Internal Team Support
- Fulfill internal requests such as Box uploads, asset pulls, and Slack inbox triage.
- Assist in preparing decks, campaign recaps, and real-time stakeholder updates.
Social Media Community & Influencer Coordinator Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in social media, influencer, or community management roles for entertainment or consumer brands.
- Experience coordinating influencer sourcing and logistics, and managing fan/community engagement across platforms.
- Hands-on experience contributing to creative, innovative, social-first campaigns.
- Experience creating static or video graphics using tools like Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, and/or Adobe Photoshop for social posts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and X.
- Experience using social tools like Sprout or Sprinklr to publish and track performance of posts.
- Proven ability to support social content execution across cinema, TV, streaming, evergreen content, and creator-led initiatives.
- Early-adopter when it comes to trends, platforms, opportunities etc.
- Interest in film, streaming, and online culture; awareness of digital fandoms and creator communities is a plus.
- Available on occasion during off-hours or weekends for events as needed.
- A deep understanding of the social ecosystem and how brands should participate in an authentic way.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to creatively problem-solve and achieve results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often on short deadlines.
