A leading digital streaming network seeks a Senior Financial Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for journal entries, reporting, reconciliation, and budgeting.

Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities:

• Populate monthly financial reporting schedules and provide to planning.
• Analyze actuals vs. forecast (Budget / Estimate) and explain fluctuations.
• Analyze fringe balances and prepare quarterly fringe accruals based on the latest estimates.
• Prepare annual multi-employer pension project and corporate cost allocations.
• Prepare and park monthly and quarterly journal entries and accruals as required.
• Reconcile the balance sheet accounts related to overhead.
• Balance of financial systems.
• Validate Quarterly and YTD Earnings Books.
• Prepare Quarterly Balance Sheet File for Planning Team.

Senior Financial Analyst Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounting experience, including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, reporting, and month-end close in a deadline-driven environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; degrees in Finance or Economics accepted with relevant accounting experience in the areas listed above.
• Strong (and current) technical knowledge of US GAAP is preferred.
• Intermediate-Advanced skills in Excel.
• Proficiency in MS Word.
• Experience in the Entertainment Industry is preferred.
• Experience with Hyperion (Essbase/Smartview), Oracle, and SAP is desired.
• Industry experience is preferred.

Shift:

• 9 am- 6 pm.
• Must be willing to work 10 – 12-hour days during the quarter close period to meet deadlines.
