SAP EHS Transformation Project Leader

SAP EHS Transformation Project Leader 8908078

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains confidentiality of both the company and their chemical supplier’s formulation information in accordance with Non-Disclosure Agreement conditions.

  • Define and document business requirements, continuous improvements of our regulatory processes to align with SAP. This would include training and creation of Standard Work Instructions (SWI)

  • Cleanup and data validation prior to migration to SAP EHS including coordination with multiple business teams

  • Facilitates meetings, plans, tracks, and reports on project activities, including an assessment of critical path activities and status.

  • Assist with data entry within SAP

  • Set up and validate SDS templates and rules.

  • Working with the ITT SAP EHS team to create the infrastructure of SAP EHS

  • Establishing Gen variance: creating specification of area validity for regulatory differences.

  • Manage "report shipping" for deliveries of SDS. Upon order, SDS relevant change sent to clients, first time shipping, subsequent shipping and determine documents to export to the internal/external system

  • Setting up customer masters data. Managing customer data in SAP for SDS deliveries

  • Setting up document mapping for publication (linking documents view key file)

  • Dangerous goods data clean-up and setting up classifications in SAP EHS

  • Coordinating with SAP EHS and business lines to implement Global Label Management (GLM), Substance Volume Tracking (SVT) and other modules within SAP EHS

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in SAP EHS including Product Safety, DG and SVT modules 

  • 1+ years experience in WERCS 

  • 3+ years experience in Chemical regulatory compliance. 

  • SDS authoring experience and DG certification is preferred. 

  • University BS Degree (or higher) in Sciences including but not limited to Chemical Engineering, Computer Science/IT or related fields.

  • Project management experience required.

  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory standards and laws governing the use of chemicals in the Oil & Gas Industry, as set by Governments/Industry in various countries.

  • Thorough knowledge of policies and standards in conjunction with the knowledge of the products and services.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Good time management skills and ability to multitask.

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and function well in a team environment.

  • Requires good analytical skills and the ability to accurately manage large amounts of complex information, with strong attention to detail.

$40 per Hour          Houston, TX          6 Month Assignment
