The successful candidate will primarily focus on system enhancement intake and grooming, working closely with cross-functional teams to streamline our sales operations. This position will also serve as a partner to the company's talent, sales solutions, and sales operations, contributing to projects that improve efficiency, standardize workflows, and automate sales planning processes. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in an operations, consulting, or strategy role, with exposure to project management or system enhancement processes. Sales Operations Analyst Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $40-$55/hr (Pay varies based on the candidate's experience and location)

Sales Operations Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with key stakeholders across multiple functions, assisting in the intake, organization, and execution of system enhancement initiatives.
  • Compile a list of new intake requests every week and review them with senior stakeholders for prioritization and next steps.
  • Ensure requests have complete information by following up with assignees where necessary.
  • Triage intake requests to identify high-priority initiatives and blockers, flagging them for senior review.
  • Maintain and update the JIRA backlog, ensuring requests are tracked, statuses updated, and appropriate stakeholders are notified.
  • Assist in preparing materials for strategic planning exercises by exporting groomed JIRA requests into planning spreadsheets.
  • Coordinate with the intake form technical team to address intake form bugs and enhancement requests.
  • Test and validate updates to the intake form, ensuring improvements are functioning correctly.
  • Document and transcribe processes for intake prioritization, creating clear and concise FAQs, Wiki articles, and enablement materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update the documentation repository, ensuring that processes are well-documented and easily accessible.
  • Perform weekly automated, standardized systems data cleanup tasks using Excel or SQL and provide recommendations on the next steps.
  • Follow-up on data dry-run emails and flag requests without complete information.
  • Provide updates on systems migration Data Clean-Up status.
  • Track weekly progress on standardized data cleanup tasks.
  • Identify and surface data clean-up delays or gaps to the project lead.
  • Work closely with a diverse cross-functional team across multiple businesses, regions, and functions.
  • Wear multiple hats by helping prioritize and manage intake requests, system enhancements, and process documentation, while also developing a deep understanding of sales operations workflows.
  • Be entrepreneurial by identifying innovative ways to optimize critical sales programs & processes.

Sales Operations Analyst Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in an operations, consulting, or strategy role, with exposure to project management or system enhancement processes.
  • 2+ years of experience using Excel and SQL.
  • 1+ years of experience with JIRA for managing project backlogs, updating tickets, and creating reports.
  • BA/BS degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, computer science, other related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience with sales-related project management tools (e.g., JIRA) and a strong understanding of sales processes such as territory planning, quota setting, and forecasting.
  • Experience with business process management and prioritization, particularly in sales-related workflows.
  • Knowledge of CRM Systems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Familiarity with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) principles and process documentation.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects and interact with global teams in a collaborative and proactive manner.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels and document processes clearly and concisely.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear, actionable format.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
