A leading professional networking company seeks a Revenue Manager. The successful candidate will collaborate with Systems, Product, FP&A, and Reporting teams to support the order-to-cash cycle for our consumer business. The company offers a great work environment.

Revenue Manager Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $60-$85/hr (Pay varies based on the candidate's experience and location)
  • Worksite: Remote - Candidates must be located in the United States and work Pacific Time office hours
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program
  • 40 hours/week, 12 Month Assignment

Revenue Manager Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert in finance/accounting for our consumer business. Determine best practices and provide Revenue guidance to the Global Revenue team and business partners to work towards company goals. Identify, implement, and lead projects that streamline processes and improve efficiency. This includes projects to accelerate close responsibilities through AI process automation and system automation.
  • Main point of contact for Engineering, Commerce and Systems, and Reporting teams to understand the data flow of Online transactions and assess accounting implications.
  • Collaborate with FP&A to support forecasting efforts and provide a bridge between revenue and outlook.
  • Provide revenue guidance on New Product Introductions (NPI) and manage the UAT with Revenue, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Lead weekly and bi-weekly meetings with cross-functional partners and give guidance on changes that have a revenue impact.

Revenue Manager Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in Accounting, Revenue, or AR. Quote to Cash is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience (Intermediate) Excel skills (eq: Pivot Table, and VLOOKUP).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study.
  • Experience with Oracle is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in SAAS accounting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of US GAAP and revenue recognition principles, and proficiency in developing and documenting accounting decisions.
  • Ability to review a high volume of transactions with proficiency, accuracy, and integrity.
  • Understands the overall order-to-cash process and the role accounts receivable takes in the process.
  • A versatile and driven team player with the ability to build relationships while executing on deliverables.
  • Challenges the status quo and seeks process improvement and innovation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues on your immediate team, with the Controllership, as well as with all cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to simultaneously drive numerous projects, as well as identify, resolve, and prioritize differing business issues.
  • Strong understanding of ASC 606 and revenue concepts.
  • Online revenue and credit card-specific experience are highly valued.
