A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (Weekends) to perform diagnostic general radiologic procedures using a variety of imaging equipment, producing high-quality diagnostic images that assist physicians in diagnosing diseases and injuries while ensuring safe, accurate, and patient-centered imaging services.

Radiologic Technologist (Weekends) Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic general radiologic procedures using various imaging equipment to produce high-quality images that assist physicians in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries.
  • Prepare, position, and monitor patients throughout imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with established imaging protocols.
  • Operate, maintain, and perform quality checks on radiologic equipment to ensure accurate imaging results and compliance with departmental standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely diagnostic services and deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, follow radiation safety guidelines, and perform additional radiologic duties as assigned to support departmental operations.

Radiologic Technologist (Weekends) Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in a related field or Certificate of Completion from a Radiology Program.
  • Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) Radiologic Technology License.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registration in Radiology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Knowledge of diagnostic radiologic imaging procedures, radiation safety principles, patient positioning, and imaging equipment operation.

Shift:

  • 12-hour shifts: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
