A leading university seeks a detail‑oriented Radiologic Technologist. The successful candidate will identify images for post-processing and/or artifacts in the images. The company offers a family-oriented culture and environment!

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities:

  • Identify images for post-processing and/or artifacts in the images.
  • Respond to detailed requests for views and/or images depicting certain anatomy and/or pathology.

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications:

  • 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Two-year degree.
  • One of the following certifications: California Registry of Radiologic Technologists, American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • ARRT and AMRIT license.
  • Advanced ARRT registry (e.g. CT, MR, etc.) desired.
  • Basic knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy and physiology, sterile technique, patient relations, medical imaging examination preparation, and medical imaging safety and screening procedures.
  • Basic knowledge and skills in the operation of medical imaging systems, 3D reformations, and post-processing procedures.
  • Basic working knowledge of medical imaging physics, principles, tissue contrast, and applications.
  • Familiarity with Unix, Windows, Mac, and/or Linux computer operating systems; experience in MR system operation and troubleshooting system and computer issues.

  • Experience in teaching and instruction of technologists, researchers, and/or physicians.
  • Ability to collaborate with other professional colleagues.
  • CT or MRI scanning.

Shift:

  • Work schedule is either 10 pm - 6:30 am or midnight to 8:30 am.
