- 40 hours/week, 6-7 Month Assignment, possible extension
A leading university seeks a detail‑oriented Radiologic Technologist. The successful candidate will identify images for post-processing and/or artifacts in the images. The company offers a family-oriented culture and environment!
Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities:
- Identify images for post-processing and/or artifacts in the images.
- Respond to detailed requests for views and/or images depicting certain anatomy and/or pathology.
Radiologic Technologist Qualifications:
- 1 year of relevant experience.
- Two-year degree.
- One of the following certifications: California Registry of Radiologic Technologists, American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
- ARRT and AMRIT license.
- Advanced ARRT registry (e.g. CT, MR, etc.) desired.
- Basic knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy and physiology, sterile technique, patient relations, medical imaging examination preparation, and medical imaging safety and screening procedures.
- Basic knowledge and skills in the operation of medical imaging systems, 3D reformations, and post-processing procedures.
- Basic working knowledge of medical imaging physics, principles, tissue contrast, and applications.
- Familiarity with Unix, Windows, Mac, and/or Linux computer operating systems; experience in MR system operation and troubleshooting system and computer issues.
- Ability to
- Experience in teaching and instruction of technologists, researchers, and/or physicians.
- Ability to collaborate with other professional colleagues.
- CT or MRI scanning.
Shift:
- Work schedule is either 10 pm - 6:30 am or midnight to 8:30 am.
