Python Developer - Data Visualization Specialist Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly pay: $50- $60/hr (Pay varies based on the candidate's experience and location)
• Worksite: Leading professional development and networking company (San Francisco, CA94105, Seattle, WA 98124, or New York, NY 10118 - Hybrid - days flexible between Tuesday and Thursday)
• W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
• 40 hours/week, 12 Month Assignment

Python Developer - Data Visualization Specialist Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design, implementation, and deployment of software solutions.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are successfully executed meeting our standards for quality software engineering.
• Design and ship high volume of elegant code with foresight to avoid performance, scalability, usability, maintainability, availability and testability issues.
• Maintain understanding of latest technologies and tools and leverage them to improve existing products and services.
• Identify opportunities within the team for potential leverage and reuse by developing libraries, APIs, and shared services.
• Assist in the onboarding and ramp-up of new engineers.
• Contribute towards the definition of product and technical roadmaps.
• ETL & Data Stream using Tableau or Grafana to create dashboards.
• Focus: Two main projects involving data metrics visualization and workflow automation.

Python Developer - Data Visualization Specialist Qualifications:

• 2+ years of software engineering experience or related field.
• BA/BS degree.
• Experience with training data is a plus.
• Working experience in the development as well as consumption of Web Services APIs (JSON / XML / RPC).
• Working experience of build systems, databases, and Linux-based infrastructures.
• Proven track record of developing large-scale highly available services and systems in either Java or Python.
• Demonstrated understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
• Demonstrated understanding of architectural models and technology stack used for developing highly scalable and highly available web applications and systems.
• Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies.
• Technical Skills: Python programming. Data visualization tools (Tableau or Grafana). ETL processes. API usage, GraphQL, SQL, and JSON.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills. Ability to conduct user research for workflow automation.
