A leading digital streaming network seeks a Procurement Production Director to support production procurement by managing procurement workflows, negotiations, analytics, operating routines, and executive-level reporting across production environments.

Procurement Production Director Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage procurement operating routines, including weekly pipeline reviews, monthly business reviews, and quarterly performance cadences, while maintaining accountability, initiative tracking, milestone visibility, and cross-functional coordination through Asana.
  • Lead procurement analytics and reporting, developing dashboards, KPIs, performance metrics, and executive-level materials that provide visibility into pipeline health, procurement performance, value delivery, and progress against priorities, while ensuring data is reliable, timely, and aligned with FP&A reporting requirements.
  • Partner with procurement leadership, category leaders, finance, legal, studio operations, production stakeholders, internal teams, and external suppliers to translate production needs into procurement workstreams, support vendor strategy and negotiations, manage vendor comparisons and approvals, track savings and risk items, and resolve time-sensitive issues through closure.
  • Standardize and improve production procurement processes, including intake, prioritization, stakeholder updates, approval tracking, escalation paths, shared trackers, reporting routines, and workflows; identify inefficiencies and support change management related to new operating routines, tools, and reporting requirements.
  • Operate as a senior individual contributor with the ability to work independently with senior executives, including SVP-level and above, lead meetings with production leadership, create structure, drive follow-up, and support the growth and responsiveness of the production procurement function.

Procurement Production Director Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, production operations, production finance, sourcing, vendor management, or management consulting supporting complex, time-sensitive business environments, OR
  • Relevant experience working independently with high-level executives at SVP level or above.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience building and managing operating cadences, governance routines, and performance management frameworks.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with demonstrated expertise in procurement dashboards, KPIs, data-driven reporting, and Excel data analytics, including AI experience with Excel.
  • Proficiency with project management, procurement, ERP, or workflow platforms such as Asana, Smartsheet, Airtable, Excel, or equivalent tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate production needs, vendor issues, and procurement data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Process improvement experience using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Experience supporting production, studio, media, entertainment, live events, or other project-based operating environments is preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion is preferred.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.

Shift:

  • 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, based on location.
