A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Physical Therapist I to evaluate and treat patients of all ages in an acute care setting, develop and modify individualized plans of care, promote functional recovery, collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and serve as a clinical resource and role model while delivering high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy services.
Physical Therapist I Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients of all ages and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on clinical assessments, patient needs, and functional goals.
- Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions while modifying plans of care as appropriate to optimize patient outcomes throughout treatment.
- Monitor patient progress, reassess functional status, and adjust treatment strategies to support safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
- Serve as a clinical resource and professional role model for staff and students by demonstrating excellence in patient care, mentorship, and professional practice.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care and ensure high-quality rehabilitation services.
Physical Therapist I Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Experience providing physical therapy services in an acute care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of physical therapy evaluation techniques, treatment planning, rehabilitation principles, and patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively educate patients, families, caregivers, students, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
Shift:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
