PCB/A Design Manufacturing Technician Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $35/hr
- Worksite: Electronics Testing and Measurement Company (Santa Rosa, CA 95403 or Roseville, CA 95747 - Onsite)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
- 40 hours/week, 24 Month Assignment
PCB/A Design Manufacturing Technician Responsibilities:
- Provide thorough design and layout review for new R&D electronic products, ensuring adherence to PCB/A design guidelines, standards, and manufacturability best practices.
- Assist in understanding and optimizing PCB/A manufacturing processes, including component spacing, copper design rules, and fabrication documentation requirements.
- Identify potential design issues early in the development process and work with engineers to provide solutions that ensure high-quality, manufacturable designs.
- Check and verify PCB designs for manufacturability, signal integrity, and compliance with fabrication requirements.
- Manage and control design documentation using systems such as Enovia/Matrix-One to ensure accurate versioning and traceability throughout the design and manufacturing process.
- Assist in troubleshooting errors related to PCB/A designs and layouts.
- Help engineers identify and resolve issues to meet production requirements.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams, providing design feedback, clarifications, and solutions to meet project needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and best practices related to design, documentation, and manufacturing processes.
PCB/A Design Manufacturing Technician Qualifications:
- Experience with PCB/A Manufacturing processes and design needs
- Experience with PCB/A component spacing and copper design rules
- Experience with documentation requirements for PCB/A fabrication.
- Experience with documentation Control Systems, Enovia/Matrix-One (or similar)
- Experience with Siemens/Mentor Graphics Validation tools: Valor (11.x), Genesis (PCB fabricators use this to check data)
- Experience with PCB/A design review of RF, uWave, High Density & Mixed Technology Designs
- Experience with Basic Electrical Circuit Theory
- Experience with PCA/PCB -Design/Layout (3 years experience - simple layouts might be ideal)
- Experience with turning on PCA/PBCs and troubleshoots errors to fix
- Willing to learn and eager to learn new things.
- Confident to ask questions to really understand the position or question the processes
- Strong desire to work in the electronics field and grow technical skill
- Ability to understand PCA/B design guidelines & standards (Do’s & Don’ts)
- Proficiency in MS Office & Adobe Tools
- Effectively multi-task multiple designs
- Successfully communicate with cross functional department representatives (Planning, Procurement, R&D Engineering)
- Adhere to schedules and department policies
- Work as part of a team to achieve department goals
- Attention to detail

- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
