  • 40 hours/week, 9 Month Assignment

A leading digital streaming network seeks a Payroll Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees within a large company, multi-state, union environment.

Payroll Analyst Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end processing of multi-frequency union and non-union payrolls.
  • Audit and reconciliation of HR and payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure data is compliant with federal, state and local tax regulations including multistate taxation rules.
  • Reconcile payroll integration and bank files.
  • Provide timely and compliant response and set up of employee garnishments.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, providing timely and accurate information and resolving discrepancies.

Payroll Analyst Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of payroll experience in a large company setting.
  • Experience with SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or other major HCM systems is a plus. SAP ECP is heavily preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite with intermediate-level Excel skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of the relationship between HR policies/programs and payroll
  • Compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations as well as company policies, and the ability to handle complex issues.
  • Basic knowledge of payroll accounting, wage and hour laws, and SOX compliance.
  • End-to-end processing of multi-frequency union is a nice-to-have; any experience with union payroll is highly preferred.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and work well under pressure.

Shift:

  • 9 am to 6 pm.
  • Open to overtime as needed.
