A leading medical institution is looking for a Patient Navigator. The successful candidate will provide non-clinical support, guidance, and assistance for patients and families as they maneuver through complex healthcare environments.

Patient Navigator Responsibilities:

• Optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Act as a communication liaison to understand the patient’s and/or caregiver’s non-clinical individual needs, desires, and concerns.
• Guide the patient and family to a broad range of services, amenities, and information to promote healing and ensure satisfaction with the patient care experience.
• Manage the maintenance of all routine clerical operations and communications.
• Ensure the accuracy of the information flow between medical, hospital staff and departments to maximize unit efficiency.

Patient Navigator Qualifications:

• 1 to 2 years of experience scheduling patient visits and or scheduling/coordinating surgeries is preferred.
• Experience with insurance authorizations, referral processing, and Apex knowledge is preferred.

Shift:

• Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 05:00 pm.
