A leading university is seeking an Operations Manager. The successful candidate will independently implement, administer, and evaluate day-to-day activities of the School of Medicine by identifying and executing tasks and objectives, making recommendations that impact policies and programs, and assigning resources to achieve the goals of the program. Operations Manager & Project Specialist Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $50/hr
  • Worksite: Palo Alto, CA 94304 - Hybrid
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
  • 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment

Operations Manager & Project Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Independently implement, administer, and evaluate day-to-day activities of the unit, function, or program by identifying and executing tasks and objectives, making recommendations that impact policies and programs, and assigning resources to achieve the goals of the program.
  • Collect and analyze data, create reports, review and explain trends; formulate and evaluate alternative solutions and/or recommendations to achieve the goals of the program or function.
  • Analyze and interpret policies; develop, revise, and implement procedures for a program or function.
  • May participate in the development of budgets, monitor, and approve expenditures. May perform limited forecasting and provide recommendations that determine the budget.

Operations Manager & Project Specialist Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in analyzing complex datasets and building actionable reports and dashboards to inform strategic decisions.
  • Strong background in developing and optimizing operational workflows, policies, and procedures across diverse functional areas.
  • Proficiency in financial operations, including forecasting, reconciliations, complex transactions, and budget management.
  • Skilled in creating and maintaining organized databases, lists, and resource infrastructure to support operational efficiency.
  • Adept at crafting clear, effective communication materials for internal stakeholders, including procedural updates and policy rollouts.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering training to team members and onboarding programs to support new hires.
  • Background in office management, including coordinating daily operations and supporting team logistics.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Shift:

  • Start between 8:30 am - 9 am Monday to Friday.
