A leading professional development and networking company is looking for a Onboarding and Learning Specialist. The right candidate, you will facilitate and deliver engaging and impactful training sessions to ensure employees have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. You'll support a positive work environment and the professional growth of our employees, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure live virtual, and in-person delivery and implementation of learning experiences in alignment with company's business goals and company values. Onboarding and Learning Specialist Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $50-$60/hr (Pay varies based on the candidate's experience)
  • Worksite: Leading professional networking company (Sunnyvale, CA 94085, Mountain View, CA 94041, Hybrid, (Monday-Thursday required Onsite))
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
  • 40 hours/week, 7 Month Assignment

Onboarding and Learning Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality onboarding sessions for new hires in-person and/or virtually at our assigned office.
  • Facilitate and deliver learning programs and experiences for employees.
  • Customize and adapt learning content to meet the needs of the audience.
  • Facilitate a variety of topics, including onboarding, communication, and collaboration, using our proprietary content and methodologies.
  • Stay updated on training and development trends to bring innovative approaches to our learning experiences and program deliveries.
  • Analyze feedback to continuously improve delivery methods and adjust training to meet the needs of the learners.
  • Facilitation and Training: Deliver engaging learning experiences both in-person and virtually.
  • Content Expertise: Quickly ramp-up and effectively deliver Talent Development program content to our employees.
  • Adaptable Mindset: Handle situations with resilience and positivity.
  • Effective Communication: Connect with learners through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Business Acumen: Align learning moments with the organization’s priorities and strategy.
  • Collaboration Skills: Work seamlessly with other facilitators and program managers.

Onboarding and Learning Specialist Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in training, learning and development, enablement, or another adjacent field
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, L&D, Talent Management, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience developing learning programs with measurable outcomes.
  • Experience delivering learning programs to Product and Engineering client groups.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation (onsite and virtual), and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizing skills, program management skills and ability to manage multiple development projects.
  • Passion for learning and development, with a commitment to continuous professional growth.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability, with the ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Proficiency in Zoom and Teams as a facilitation tool.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in diverse learning methods and facilitation modalities.
