A leading technology company seeks a Model Shop Front Door Coordinator. The successful candidate will accept NPI & Model Shop jobs in an online Manufacturing Execution System (MES), focusing primarily on turning department jobs and reviewing with technical experts to determine the job routing required to manufacture parts and/or assemblies per the request. Model Shop Front Door Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Assign jobs to appropriate resources based on technical requirements, workload, scheduling, and business priorities.
• Coordinate the purchase of lower-level materials and tooling.
• Manage jobs through all process steps, working with each department to meet the customer's request.
• Manage outsourcing of work to external suppliers, including requests for quotes (RFQs), managing purchase orders, and ensuring delivery dates are met.
• Ensure data in the Manufacturing Execution System is up to date and accurate.

Model Shop Front Door Coordinator Qualifications:

• Good computer & Microsoft Office skills.
• Operations and logistics knowledge.
• Manufacturing planning and scheduling.
• Supplier management.
• Basic machining/manufacturing knowledge, including understanding of drawings.
• 2D/3D CAD.
• Familiarity with GD&T and CAD skills (Siemens NX CAD preferred) and a basic understanding of turning, WEDM, sheet Metal, additive manufacturing, and milling are preferred.

Shift:

• Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM.
