A leading electronics testing company is looking for a Manufacturing Operations Support to join the Meso-scale Center. The successful candidate will support machining processes. The company offers a family-oriented work environment.

Manufacturing Operations Support Responsibilities:

• Unload parts from machines.
• Deburr, sand, or remove tabs of machined parts.
• Assemblage of components.
• Gather and check the tools needed to set up a job.
• Verify gages for specific jobs are available and calibrated.
• Pull blueprints and prepare work orders.
• Clean finished parts.

Manufacturing Operations Support Qualifications:

• Specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in a machine/mechanics shop environment is preferred.
• Experience with the support of mechanical, machining, or other technical processes accompanied by a knack for precision and mechanical aptitude.
• Machine tools and machining technologies are preferred.
• Measurement of mechanical components using hand measurement tools is preferred.
• Mechanical inspection is preferred.
• Mechanical assembly is preferred.
• Deburring, grinding, and sanding are preferred.
• Gaging, the tool crib attendant is preferred.
• Various metals and other materials used in machining components are preferred.
• Blueprint reading is preferred.

• Flexibility is needed.
