A leading electronics testing company is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Support to support precision manufacturing operations that produce critical components for industry-leading electronic measurement equipment. This hands-on role involves performing manual and automated processing activities, microscopic inspections, and assembly-related tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results while working collaboratively within a multicultural team environment.
Manufacturing Operations Support Responsibilities:
- Support daily hand operations, including heat treat, cleaning, sorting, deburring, and other manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and operational excellence.
- Process precision components through manual and automated operations, performing visual inspections, microscopic inspections, and assembly tasks to verify product quality and conformance to specifications.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment for part sorting, deburring, cleaning, precision gaging, and handling of high-volume components while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
- Operate within Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and use Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Excel, to support production tracking, documentation, and workflow requirements.
- Interpret technical specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), to perform quality checks and ensure components meet manufacturing requirements.
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment while demonstrating teamwork, adaptability, and a strong commitment to quality in a fast-paced production setting.
Manufacturing Operations Support Qualifications:
- Experience performing microscopic inspections and visual quality checks.
- Ability to perform high-volume parts handling, sorting, cleaning, and deburring activities with a high degree of accuracy.
- Basic proficiency with Windows PC applications and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using precision measurement tools, including pin, thread, and ring gages.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, including GD&T requirements.
- Some college coursework or technical training in manufacturing, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is preferred.
- Prior experience in precision manufacturing, machining, or component inspection environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with clean manufacturing practices and quality-focused production processes is preferred.
