A leading electronics testing company is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Coordinator, Materials Handling to support stockroom operations by receiving, storing, issuing, packaging, and maintaining inventory for production and shipping activities, ensuring efficient material flow and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Manufacturing Operations Coordinator, Materials Handling Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, validate, sort, store, label, log, and organize incoming materials while verifying packing slips, documenting discrepancies or damages, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Prepare, package, and ship parts and products by selecting appropriate shipping containers and ensuring materials are packed safely and accurately for external delivery.
- Issue materials to production work orders, replenish point-of-use inventory on the production floor, deliver materials to staging areas, and maintain efficient stockroom operations.
- Perform inventory cycle counts, investigate material discrepancies, maintain shipping and receiving documentation, prepare routine reports, update department databases, and complete additional stockroom administrative tasks as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following departmental procedures, quality standards, safety requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives, including supporting LEAN manufacturing practices when applicable.
Manufacturing Operations Coordinator, Materials Handling Qualifications:
- Previous material handling, stockroom, inventory, assembly, or electronics manufacturing experience preferred (warehouse-only experience is not the primary focus).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Familiarity with modern stockroom, inventory control, or material handling practices; LEAN manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Ability to type 35+ words per minute.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds without assistance.
