Manufacturing Operations Coordinator - Materials Handling Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $22/hr
  • Worksite: Electronics Testing and Measurement Company Colorado Springs, CO 80907 - Onsite)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
  • 40 hours/week, 24 Month Assignment

Manufacturing Operations Coordinator - Materials Handling Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and package parts and products in preparation for external shipment by selecting the appropriate shipping container and packing items for safe delivery.
  • Receive and store incoming materials in the main stockroom facility. Requires validation of packing slip against available tools to verify the accuracy of incoming shipments.
  • Sort, count, package, label, insure, unpack, and/or logs inventory that is shipped or received.
  • Inspect shipments for damages or defects; record discrepancies or damages and notify supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
  • Issue parts and material to production work orders and deliver to production material staging area.
  • Restock point of use locations of bulk material on the production floor.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts of material on a weekly basis.
  • May assist with investigating material discrepancy errors
    Perform administrative functions such as maintaining department databases, prepare routine reports, file shipping and receiving records.
  • Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, written work instructions, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
  • Perform miscellaneous stock room-related administrative duties as assigned.
  • May provide on-the-job training and guidance as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, working environment and optimize space utilization.

Manufacturing Operations Coordinator - Materials Handling Qualifications:

  • Material handling or assembly experience in the electrics industry is preferred.
  • Experience with MS Suite of applications including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent attitude and the ability to provide critical thinking.
  • Track record of increasing effectiveness or reducing waste in process steps, familiarity with LEAN methodologies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
  • Effective listening and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Success in a diverse, team-oriented work environment.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 35 WPM.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds, without assistance.

Shift:

  • Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM.
