A leading technology company seeks a Machine Shop Helper. The ideal candidate will assist the machinist with the post-machining process following existing procedures. The company offers a family-oriented culture and environment!

Machine Shop Helper Responsibilities:

• Remove the micro burrs on milled and/or turned parts following existing procedures.
• Develop new procedures and techniques with the aid of machinists and engineers.
• Operate a heat treat furnace following existing processes and procedures.
• Inspect incoming parts for quality and adherence to part specifications.

Machine Shop Helper Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Ability to sit and look through a microscope for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 35 pounds
• Prolonged periods of standing and working with machinery
• Detail-oriented with the highest standards of quality.
• High dexterity to manipulate small objects.
• Excellent eye-hand coordination.
• Flexibility upon priority changes.
• Knowledge of machine processes is a plus.
• Willingness to question anything that does not make sense or may be in error.

Shift:

• Willingness to work overtime as required by business needs.
