The Corporate Controllership team is looking for a creative and versatile Junior Business Process Analyst to assist in managing our transformation projects within the Record-to-Report (“R2R”) area, focusing on general accounting and portfolio management. This individual will work closely with the accounting and finance teams to enable process and system improvements that will scale the finance organization. This role also provides you with the opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from new systems implementations and updates to new business processes.

This role will work with Global Process Owners and Transformation Leads through all phases of the project, to clarify and communicate business requirements and ensure alignment of business solutions and needs. The ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and willingness to assist in areas outside of direct assignments when necessary, and commitment to self-improvement and completion of team objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Transformation team with managing deliverables including portfolio management, business process analysis, assessments, requirements gathering and documentation
  • Assist in the creation of business requirement documents (“BRDs”), designs user acceptance test scenarios and test scripts
  • Evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, identifies gaps, decomposes high-level information into details, and assist decision-making
  • Prepares reporting on planning status, scope, timelines, milestones, resources, dependencies, risks/ issues and delivery
  • Coordinates meetings with cross-functional teams, including internal customers and third-party consultants to manage requirements for all stakeholders
  • Diligently follows-up on the status of initiatives as a measure of accountability
  • Assist in managing regional projects and enhancements by working closely with global managers and business applications teams to ensure standardization
  • Creates communication messages for status reports for all stakeholders
  • Develop and manage meeting communications and cadence activities between business and technical teams
  • Documents R2R business processes

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience with professional training
  • 3 years or more of relevant qualified experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous operational experience in a business environment working on projects
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to multiple audiences, including various levels of management
  • Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies and processes
  • Experience in designing presentations and deliverables for different audiences
  • Experience working across cultures and geographies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of overall business processes within finance
  • Team player, flexible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and multi-task

$40-$50 Per Hour         Sunnyvale, CA 94085       12 Month Assignment
