Job Description

Immigration Specialist 


  • Post and coordinate all necessary recruitment steps based on the instructions provided by  immigration counsels for PERM (Program Review Management), a way in which labor certifications can be filed with the Department of Labor (DOL).
  • PERM is the first step of the U.S. permanent residence process)
  • Coordinate with immigration counsel and managers on PERM screening and interviewing of all candidates who respond to the recruitment of PERM cases
  • Track all responses to recruitment by reviewing all resumes (explain reason(s) if candidate is not qualified)
  • Contact and coordinate the interview process with the managers and candidates who might be qualified and record all contacts
  • Prepare and provide summary reports as requested by the immigration counsels
  • Schedule phone and onsite interviews if necessary
  • Capacity to prioritize, manage, and implement projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • A high level of client service acumen and ability to work with all levels of a company’s organization
  • Strong organization, time management and multi-tasking abilities
  • Exceptionally detail oriented and self-drivenCompulsively well organized
  • Savvy with technical recruiting
  • Persistent in following up to complete the job


Education & Training Required:

  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proven people and project management skills
  • Experience preparing U.S immigrant petitions, specifically PERM (desirable)
  • A bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate is required, as well as at least one year of immigration experience 
  • Location SF, CA
  • Payrate $22 per hr
  • 6 Month Assignment
