A leading biotechnology company is seeking an Image Data Scientist. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and application of image-processing methods and pipelines using both conventional techniques and advanced techniques, such as machine learning and deep learning

Image Data Scientist Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and implementation of new AI-powered image analysis algorithms.
• Close collaboration with pathologists to design and execute image analysis workflows tailored to biological questions.
• Work with computational and data scientists across various departments.

Image Data Scientist Qualifications:

• BS, MS, or PhD-level scientist.
• Background and experience in computer sciences with a strong interest in biomedical sciences.
• Proficient programming skills in Python, including standard packages for image segmentation and statistical analysis.
• Comfort with iterative design processes and openness to frequent feedback.
• Experience in developing algorithms for digital pathology whole slide image analysis is desired.
• Experience with commercial digital pathology software (e.g., HALO) is desired
• Experience in biomedical microscopy and/or image analysis is desired.
• Skills in R, MATLAB, and statistical analysis are desired.
• Proficiency with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras is desired.
• Experience with Amazon EC2 cloud computing is desired.

Shift:

• 8 am to 5 pm or 8 hours of work Monday to Friday.
