HR Operations Specialist

We are a boutique recruiting and staffing company seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented, client-facing HR Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing HR operational tasks and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Your responsibilities will include handling employee lifecycle processes, addressing HR-related inquiries, and maintaining compliance with company policies and local regulations. This position requires a strong ability to build relationships, multitask, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity native or fluent English speakers to develop professionally alongside a supportive work team. This will be an initial 3-6 month, onsite contract with a possibility of extension or conversion.


Company: Recruiting and staffing company headquartered in the U.S. with nearshore office in Santiago, Chile

Location: Onsite in Providencia, Chile

Salary: $800.000 CLP net

Duration: 3-6 month assignment with a high potential for extension or conversion

Hours: Monday-Friday during Pacific (California) office hours


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HR operations contact for assigned clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure HR processes align with their business needs and goals.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures for client accounts.
  • Generate and analyze HR reports, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Assist with payroll processing by coordinating employee data and addressing client-specific payroll requirements.
  • Facilitate and document training sessions, workshops, or presentations for clients as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal departments to address operational challenges and enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent English speaker living in Santiago with authorization to work in Chile
  • Available to work onsite in Providencia from Monday through Friday during Pacific office hours
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Act as a reliable and supportive team member
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal skills in English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Data-driven mindset and tech savvy
  • Preferred: university degree, relevant work experience
