A leading university is seeking a Housing Service Center Supervisor to oversee student service operations by administering university programs, resolving complex student issues, supervising staff, and supporting program development while ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.
Housing Service Center Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Administer student service programs by evaluating program eligibility, interpreting university policies and procedures, resolving complex student concerns, and guiding on academic, housing, financial, and student service matters.
- Lead program operations by developing services, analyzing program effectiveness, coordinating outreach initiatives, maintaining university and community partnerships, representing the department at meetings and events, and serving as a subject matter expert.
- Analyze complex transactions and data from multiple sources, prepare management reports and presentations, support technology implementation, oversee financial processes and budgets as needed, and ensure compliance with university, legal, and financial policies.
- Support organizational effectiveness by leading business process improvements, participating in university-wide projects, supervising and training staff, volunteers, and temporary employees, and promoting a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by resolving sensitive and high-impact issues, tracking student trends, preparing proactive communications, exercising sound judgment, and applying strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to support student success.
Housing Service Center Supervisor Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Strong communication, analytical, customer service, and problem-solving skills with experience using Microsoft Office Suite, relevant business systems, financial transactions, policy interpretation, and compliance with university, legal, and financial regulations.
- Experience supervising staff, leading organizational improvements, managing student service programs, preparing reports, supporting budgets, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Shift:
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
