A leading podcast and audiobook company is seeking a sharp, technically capable, and data-focused Global Reporting and Segmentation Manager. The successful candidate will help support customer segmentation efforts, campaign performance, and email/push channel health metrics, shape innovative customer-focused programs designed to deepen member relationships and enhance acquisition efforts. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who can partner closely with business owners to support a customer-focused marketing strategy, and who can provide data-driven insights into campaign performance and channel health metrics.

Global Reporting and Segmentation Manager Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $35-$60/hr (Pay varies based on the candidate's experience and location)
  • Worksite: Leading podcast and audiobook company (Newark, NJ 07102 - Hybrid, Open to remote candidates in the United States, Candidates local to Newark are preferred)

Global Reporting and Segmentation Manager Responsibilities:

  • Support marketing and other stakeholder teams with sophisticated campaign targeting and segmentation capabilities.
  • Maintain and develop segmentation for automated programs (onboarding, retention, etc.).
  • Ensure segmentation supports testing strategies that allow for accurate measurement of campaign performance.
  • Partner with tech and data engineering teams to diagnose and drive resolution of technical issues relating to customer targeting and data hygiene.
  • Create and maintain Wikis for global segmentation and reporting teams and stakeholders.
  • Create clear, user-friendly documentation to transfer work to supporting offshore teams.
  • Lead weekly check-ins with offshore team members to monitor progress, prioritize tasks, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Review and validate segmentation queries and reporting from the offshore team to ensure accuracy, compliance with campaign requirements, and adjerence to business rules and data governance standards.

Global Reporting and Segmentation Manager Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in CRM, Database, or Campaign Analytics roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field of study.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL (experience with AWS Redshift a plus).
  • Experience supporting outbound marketing teams, generating audiences for email and mobile push notifications and ensuring segmentation supports campaign testing strategies (e.g., proper sampling techniques and sizing of treatment and control groups).
  • Experience creating segments in support of multi-channel campaigns and automated customer journeys.
  • Experience working in Jira or similar workflow management software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of email and mobile push marketing best practices is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Braze, specifically regarding segmentation best practices and efficiencies.
  • Familiar with customer attributes and outbound campaign data (email, push).
  • Technically capable with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical capability and a solid understanding of campaign performance and channel health metrics are preferred.
