A leading medical institution is seeking a Financial Service Analyst. The successful candidate will manage the daily operation of the Payment Plus virtual pay program. The ideal candidate has experience working with large data sets and reports with accuracy. The company offers a great work environment!

Financial Service Analyst Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $30/hr
  • Worksite: Leading medical institution (San Francisco, CA 94158 - Hybrid, Must be onsite for occasional training, meetings or to meet other business needs)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
  • 40 hours/week, 3-6 Month Assignment, Possible extension

Financial Service Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operation of the Payment Plus virtual pay program.
  • Conduct analysis and reporting to ensure the program is performing at an optimal level and determine areas of improvement.
  • Assist with Payment Plus and Card Programs campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate financial records related to disbursements, including payment receipts, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
  • Provide research on invoices/vouchers to resolve payment issues.
  • Support and collaborate with internal (various departments, procurement, and accounts payable) and external customers, communicate payment status, resolve issues, and provide guidance on disbursement-related inquiries.
  • Perform general administration for the Medical Center, Procurement Card programs, including process new card applications, maintenance, and ghost card reconciliation.
  • Reconcile and audit all Corporate and Procurement Card transactions to ensure policy compliance and prevent misuse and abuse of the cards.
  • Work with end users to determine needed system changes and translate the changes into coherent timing solutions.
  • Provide continual training to end users to ensure they understand how to use the Corporate Card and Procurement Card programs and how to utilize the supporting system features to the fullest.
  • Troubleshoot and proved solutions for any problem or bugs that arise in the system.
  • Provide excellent customer service to departmental users, vendors.
  • Ensure work queues are managed within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Create and run departmental reports or operational monitoring and ad-hoc reports for analysis.

Financial Service Analyst Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred.
  • Experience working with large data sets and reports with accuracy.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Online Accounts Payable system (e.g, PeopleSoft or other large ERP system).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong reading comprehension, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact.
  • A bright, quick learner.

Shift:

  • Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
