A leading digital streaming network seeks a Financial Analyst to support financial planning and analysis activities by managing purchase orders and payments, maintaining financial data integrity, assisting with forecasting and reporting, analyzing large datasets, and providing actionable business insights to support strategic decision-making.

Financial Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Create, process, and manage purchase orders, assist with invoice processing and cash payments, monitor approval workflows, ensure accurate coding, support vendor payments, and maintain aging balances.
  • Support financial planning and analysis activities by assisting with monthly forecasts, annual budgets, long-range planning, month-end close activities, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and KPI pacing reports.
  • Maintain data integrity across financial systems and reporting tools, organize and analyze large datasets, pull financial reports, and support forecasting and reporting using Google Sheets, Excel, and financial applications.
  • Prepare and update presentation materials for leadership by synthesizing financial data into clear, actionable insights while collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting ad hoc financial analysis.
  • Leverage analytical tools and emerging technologies to improve reporting efficiency, support financial operations, automate reporting processes where applicable, and quickly learn new software and systems.

Financial Analyst Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1+ years of experience in finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis, or a similar quantitative role.
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets and Google Slides, and Microsoft Excel, including formulas such as VLOOKUP and working with large datasets.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, analytical, reporting, and data analysis skills with experience preparing presentations for leadership and communicating complex financial information clearly.
  • Experience processing purchase orders, invoices, cash payments, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and maintaining financial data integrity.
  • Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Longview, Tableau, or AI tools including Claude is preferred.
  • Experience within media, entertainment, or technology industries is preferred.

Shift:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm ET.
