A leading children's medical institution is seeking an Executive Admin Assistant. The selected candidate will provide personnel management, capital budget, and other administrative support. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of relevant administrative experience (preferably in a hospital setting) and come from a claims/insurance background.

Admin Assistant Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $25/hr
  • Worksite: Leading children's medical institution (Dallas, TX 75207 - Onsite)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
  • 40 hours/week, 3 Month Assignment

Admin Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Assist executive with the administrative aspects of personnel management which may include processing timesheets, Payroll Notifications, Requests for Personnel and counseling documents; ensure compliance with Administrative, Human Resources and department policies and procedures as well as Joint Commission standards, employee education standards and employee health checks.
  • Assist executive in the development and monitoring of the capital budget for their respective areas of control. This includes assisting with other financial processes and projects; prepare correspondence and reports requiring some understanding of technical matters; and respond to routine and non-routine inquiries using standardized policies and procedures.
  • Perform other administrative duties and special projects as required in support of the executive.
  • No supervisory responsibilities but may provide informal guidance to new team members.

Admin Assistant Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of secretarial or other relevant experience, preferably in a hospital environment.
  • Two-year Associate's degree or a higher level degree.
  • Previous claims/insurance background is a plus.
  • Ability to solve problems in straightforward situations; analyze possible solutions using professional/technical experience, judgment and precedents.
  • Able to impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team, within guidelines and policies.
  • Understand key business drivers; use this understanding to accomplish own work.tial
  • Open to receiving a moderate level of guidance and direction.
  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
