Entry Level Administrative Assistant - Healthcare 

We are seeking to build a team of entry level Practice Coordinators for full-time, contract-to-hire positions with a leading medical provider. This is a great opportunity to launch your healthcare administration career with a world-class medical institution. Paid training is provided.

Administrative Assistant Pay and Benefits:

  • Pay: $41,000+ annual
  • Worksite: Leading medical institution, San Francisco, CA 94143 
  • W2 employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PSL
  • Job Type: 40 hrs per week, Initial 12 month assignment, potential for conversion (approx $50,000-$65,000 annual upon conversion)

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Greet and register patients, and other front office tasks
  • Handle routine back office clerical operations and communications
  • Handle insurance authorizations, maintain medical records, and other healthcare administrative tasks
  • Schedule appointments, handle calls for the Occupational Health hotline and other call related tasks
  • Be attentive to the needs of patients, staff and providers at all times, while being flexible in dealing with changing priorities and challenging situations
  • Comply with an extensive onboarding process and complete onsite training

What we’re looking for:

  • Administrative professionals with superior customer service and strong clerical skills
  • Experience with healthcare processes and terminology a big plus, but not required
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications and web based systems
  • Four-year degree or medical certification is preferred, but not required
  • One year commitment to our program, with contract-to-hire option for exemplary candidates
  • Candidates fully vaccinated against Covid-19, including the booster 

Shift: Typically Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, ideally candidates will also be available for other shifts
